Jim Kaju Memorial Law Enforcement Scholarship
Greetings, For those that don't know already, my older brother Jim passed away suddenly last Christmas Eve of a heart attack. While my family and friends still grieve his passing; we are blessed that there will be a new law enforcement scholarship created in my brother Jim's name. The goal is to raise $6,000 dollars from this site. The Wallin Education Partners will match this amount for a total of $12,000 dollars. The funds will provide a 2 year law enforcement scholarship to a student seeking a career in law enforcement. Jim and I both knew the late Win Wallin . Win was a truly gentle, kind person who valued education as a key to success in life. The legacy foundation he started in Minneapolis is truly special. I am truly honored to be partnered with this organization in a memorial for Jim. My brother Jim was most proud of his service as a Minneapolis Police Officer. I can think of no better way to continue to honor his memory than to provide support for a young person seeking to join the ranks of law enforcement. Once fully funded , at a future date... we hope to host a event for the student awarded.
Sincerely, Joe Kaju
