Tri Community and Youth Agency, Inc.

Join us in making a difference! We are raising money to benefit Tri Community And Youth Agency Inc (Tri CYA), and any donation will help Tri CYA purchase a van. Tri CYA serves youth 5-21 years old after school, evenings, and weekends year round. We are located in Huntington Station within walking distance to public housing projects, and homeless shelters. All programs and services that we offer are free. The majority of youth Tri CYA serves live at or below the poverty level. In addition to our on-site programming, the van will be used to transport youth to educational, recreational, and cultural programs. These programs are not only on Long Island, but extend to New York City. Often times, this is the first opportunity for the youth we serve to attend a ball game, a museum, a college campus, the beach, and parks. Each summer, Tri CYA provides a minimum of 35 free trips to our youth. Throughout the school year we have weekly trips and programs that depend on having a van.  In our own community, it is difficult for our youth to get from one part of town to the other. This often prevents many youth from participating in community events and other opportunities. In addition, the van will be used on a weekly basis to transport families in need to doctors appointments, court appearances, school appointments and appointments to help families receive their basic needs. 

For many years, we shared a van with other agencies and we are no longer able to have access to this van. Unfortunately, this year due to COVID-19 we were unable to have our annual Hall of Honor Fundraiser. Any amount donated will have significant impact and help us reach our goal of purchasing a van!
