Support The Childhood Cancer Project
Hi all -
We are planning to run the Brooklyn Half Marathon in April in honour of the ten-year anniversary since the passing of Naomi Felder (A”H) this coming July. Naomi was a beautiful person inside and out who carried herself with grace, dignity and light throughout her battle with ewing sarcoma, the second most commonly diagnosed primary bone cancer in children and young adults. Naomi was a great friend and her memory will forever live on in our hearts.
We are raising money for The Childhood Cancer Project LLC, a non-profit that supports childhood cancer research, founded by the parents, family members, and friends of Joshua Segal, who began his battle with osteosarcoma, a rare type of childhood cancer, in 2015. We have been amazed and humbled watching Joshua’s bravery throughout his fight with cancer and are impressed by his focus on using his experience to create a positive impact on others.
A common thread between Naomi and Joshua is their staggering endurance through each of their respective fights and the aura they both had even in the toughest of times. We are so grateful in advance for any support to help facilitate the lives of any more children who unfortunately have to face a similar battle. Thank you - we really appreciate it.
Lots of love,
Bella, Alex & Arianna
