Sussex-Wantage Historic Society

Hello friends. Well we are coming up on our one year anniversary of the Sussex-Wantage Historical Society Museum being open, and boy have we grown. People have been so generous donating documents and artifacts that words cannot describe how grateful we are. We have so many documents that we wish we could share with everyone, which is why we are having this GoFundMe. We would like to be able to purchase an overhead scanner so that we can begin the process of digitizing documents that you just can't find on the internet. As you may know, our funding comes soley from membership dollars and donations. We receive no government funding of any kind so we turn to you, people who love history. Imagine being able to go to our website and look at the yearbook of your ancestors, or old advertisements from local vendors, or commencement programs from elementary school though high school and so, so much more. I hope that you will help. Any donation counts. Thank you and please visit us at the Museum at 37 Main Street in Sussex Borough, every Sunday from 12PM - 3PM. If you have a special occasion or would like to visit outside of those hours, just contact us and we can make arrangements.
