Rebuilding the hearts of Veterans
Survivors Of War (S.O.W.) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and ministry that was created to help ALL disabled veterans and veterans, disabled police, fire, and first responder members, as well as human trafficking survivors, aged out foster kids, cancer survivors, and domestic violence survivors.
God continues to expand our tent pegs and who we serve every day. We strongly believe that all of America’s survivors have earned the right to benefit from our programs. S.O.W. is inclusive of all disabled veterans, not just Post 9-11 veterans; and their families. We also aim to educate communities on the hidden and unseen illnesses, such as PTS (d), depression, adjustment disorder, anxiety, etc as well as the obvious physical injuries that are the result of their service, commitment, trauma and sacrifice.
Our God given goal is to BUILD Restoration Ranch. We completed the first phase of purchasing almost an acre and a half of land for the 1st phase of development. Restoration Ranch will consist of a 2 story, 14-unit estate where our apartments are carefully planned and designed to allow the Veteran to get back their independence along with assistance, if need be. Each apartment will have 2 bedrooms to house 2 Veterans per unit. We also will provide 4-6 ADA units for our Veterans who paid a physical price with their service and are now disabled.
We will also have on site a 15k sqft. facility called the R.E.C. (Rehabilitation & Evolution Center). This R.E.C. will consist of 4 major therapeutic programs such as Golf, Jiu-jitsu, Scuba, and Strength & Conditioning. We will also be providing life skills and workforce training to help our members get back their identity, dignity, and self-worth to be able to take on the world with a better spirit. Here at Restoration Ranch we believe that our Veterans deserve the same love, respect and sacrifice that they've shown us.
Every dollar, every hour of volunteer support, every prayer, and every conversation is needed and can make a difference in the lives of our Veterans. Whether it's $1 or $1,000,000 dollars, YOU can make a difference. Together we can bring the Veteran suicide epidemic and homelessness to an end, and give our Veterans a 2nd chance. Our American heroes are struggling daily…LETS CHANGE THAT AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!
