As the Strongest Man in Chicago I've been crowned a Pull-Up Champion in high caliber competitions around the world,  hitting 25+ Pull-Ups in each competition. 

On World Pull-Up Day, September 22nd 2018, I will up the ante to 1000 Pull-Ups in ONE DAY.  I will complete pull-ups for every donation I receive to benefit the S.O.U.L. Foundation.

I have been a volunteer and student sponsor with SOUL (www.souluganda.org) since 2013, and have served on the Board since 2015.   The S.O.U.L. Foundation  provides life-saving maternal health, education, business development, and mentorship in rural Uganda.

In my 20 years of volunteer service it's been clear to me that education is the most important mechanism for driving humanitarian change, which is why education is the primary focus of my service. 

In 2013, I decided to take my volunteer leadership in the USA to global efforts in Uganda.  I couldn’t be more fulfilled by my decision to dedicate my life to education in Uganda. It has become one of the most enriching experiences in my life overall. 

Before dedicating my service to the S.O.U.L. Foundation, I spoke with the Executive Directors of essentially  every education focused non-profit in Uganda.  I told them my background, ambitions, and ideas for contribution.  I also asked them about their goals, methodologies, and means of demonstrating success. 

After narrowing it down to the organizations with the most compelling missions and results, I easily chose S.O.U.L. Foundation as the premiere organization in Uganda with which to devote my time.   S.O.U.L.'s model is unique because it requires the community to invest financially, mentally, and emotionally in bettering their futures, which is crucial to developing a mindset of self-perpetuated growth.
