San Miguel Reproductive Freedom Fund is partnering with CASA (a non-profit here in San Miguel that serves the poor through health, social service and education) to expand CASA’S successful bodega box program to Guanajuato City and surrounding towns. .

We’re sure you’re asking, what is a bodega box? They are right under your nose in pharmacies, barber shops and little tiendas right here in San Miguel de Allende. . The boxes are filled with free condoms along with information about free or low-cost family planning, including support for terminating a pregnancy. CASA just added 11 new boxes in the university area. As they say, location, location! A university is the perfect spot.

CASA’s dedicated condom brigade refills the boxes every week. Our goal is to add 200 more boxes--and we need your help. You can “adopt” a box for one month for $70 … or for one year for $840.
