Hello, my name is Sage Chapman. I'm a non-binary, Jewish 8th grader at Jackson Middle School in Portland, Oregon. My Brit Mitzvah is this summer. To go along with that, for my tzedakah (charity) project, I am raising money for the organization Outside In.
This cause is important to me because I believe everyone deserves healthcare. Despite this, many transgender and non-binary citizens do not get the healthcare they require. Outside In has a gender clinic, and they work to help LGBTQ+ Portlanders.
