What is the new Kiesler Wellness Center? (Formerly known as Kiesler House)
An innovative, strength-based, and a community collaborative mental health wellness center. The new Kiesler Wellness Center will be an educational support center for community members, families, and social service providers seeking ways to access mental health wellness resources. The key to wellness is Kiesler!
Who will it serve?
Our hometown communities. Kiesler Wellness Center defines community as: Any community member who is seeking support, educational resources, or services for mental health recovery. The Kiesler Wellness Center defines mental health recovery as: A self-directed and person-centered plan to address life needs that have been affected negatively by mental illness.
How could the new Kiesler Wellness Center help you and your community?
1 in 5 families are affected by mental illness. This could be you, your loved one, your friend or your co-worker. By helping individuals achieve mental health recovery, we help families break the cycle of unemployment, homelessness, poverty, addiction, loneliness, hopelessness and even suicide. In that way, we help everyone toward a better quality of life. Kiesler will be that bridge to a brighter tomorrow by offering support, education, and wellness-based services. A stronger community begins one person at a time.
