Help Support the Mt Lemmon Fire Department
The Mt. Lemmon Fire District (MLFD) is charged with providing structural fire protection to the communities of Summerhaven, Greater Soldier Camp, and Willow Canyon. In addition, they provide forest land fire suppression, search and rescue, and emergency medical services.
Thanks to the Mt. Lemmon Fire District and to the Hot Shots, none of the national forest cabins on Mt Lemmon were lost. We owe a great debt to our firefighters, which is impossible to repay.
In order to continue their vital work, the MLFD needs our financial support. Due to Covid-19, the usual fundraising events (e.g., the pancake breakfast and the chili cook-off) were cancelled this year. The proceeds from this year's cook-off would have been used to purchase equipment for their volunteers.
Your support will help offset the lost contributions, and help keep our fire department strong.
