A Nurses Wish
My name is Tom Frawley & my wife, Mary (Keenan) Frawley is a truly extraordinary woman & has been since the moment we met 35+ years ago. The first time she looked at me with her warm eyes, it was over for me. She is the kindest, most selfless, loving person I have ever met. Mary consistently puts others ahead of herself while her devotion to her children, family & friends never ceases to amaze me. I believe that this selflessness, as well as, her desire to help other is what led her to her two other loves, Nursing & Education.
Mary has earned a B.A, and a Masters Degree in Nursing. Using her skills to help AIDS/HIV patients in New York City to Medical/Surgical Cardiac Care at the #1 Heart Hospital on Long Island. Her career has spanned over 30 years & she now oversees the daily patient services for the largest home care agency on Long Island (N.Y). She will be receiving her Doctorate degree in the Spring of '19.
Mary has touched so many lives, whether it's giving advice to others on how to handle their own healthcare or to visiting friends/family & even strangers & simply listening to them in their own time of need. Mary is a truly special person.
I am proud to announce that I am establishing, with your help, an annual financial award (The Dr. Mary Keenan-Frawley Scholarship Award) to be given to a deserving Nursing School student at Molloy College in Rockville Center (Long Island) New York. I establish this for two reasons. First, Mary has always had a special love for Molloy College. She has always given Molloy credit for giving her the necessary skills to succeed in her own career. Finally, Mary loves Nursing Education and I can't think of no better way to honor her than assist her in helping the next generation of nurses reach their goals but, I CAN'T DO THIS ALONE. I NEED YOUR HELP.
My hope is that you will take a moment to think of your own relationship with Mary. Whether it's growing up with her in Queens, working alongside her throughout her career, maybe even a moment when she was able to lend you a hand, giving you advice in your own time of need. Finally, maybe you're reading this, remembering a time in your own life, when a special nurse touched your life and didn't know how to thank them. What better way than help create another great nurse. Every donation is important...$1, $5, $10, $20, $50, $100 even $1,000,000 (lol) they are ALL IMPORTANT, THEY ALL MATTER & most importantly, your ONE TIME donation will help build better nurses for our future.
Thank you for your time & your donation.
