The holiday season is a special time to be enjoyed by all ages, especially children. But unfortunately, many children in our area are diagnosed with cancer during this time of the year and therefore have a difficult time enjoying the season. Realizing this, in 1986 we hosted the first Kids With Cancer Holiday Party and have carried on this tradition for the last 31 years. Cancer, not only impacts the child, but the entire family as well. Through this party we are able to provide a special day for the entire family complete with presents, food, drinks, entertainment, dancing, games and even a visit from Santa. It’s a glorious day for all, giving them an opportunity to temporarily put aside their illness and have a day of normalcy.
