Heartland Humane Society

Our beloved daughter, Camryn, passed away tragically on April 5, 2025, shortly after completing the Corvallis half-marathon. As an OSU student, she enjoyed spending many hours at Heartland Humane helping with the animals. It gave her a break from her studies and helped her reconnect with animals and nature. We believe Camryn would want to help Heartland continue their mission so that future animals and OSU students can continue to make this connection. Camryn had passion for the forests and the wildlands of Oregon as well. A separate GoFundMe fundraiser has been set up to place a bench in an OSU Research Forest in Camryn's memory.

Hello, I am one of the many thousands of people who come across animals that are either on the side of the road or in a shelter.

6.3 million companion animals enter animal shelters annually, with about 3.3 million being dogs and 3 million being cats. Approximately 4 million are adopted, and about 920,000 are euthanized each year.

I want to raise enough money to support the Heartland Humane Shelter, and I know with all the amazing people out there, we can do it.
