You can make a difference by donating today to Lady Washington's Restoration.
Our mission is to enrich lives by creating memories, experiences, and fostering connections through the celebration of maritime history, art, and culture. We are dedicated to providing engaging educational and recreational opportunities that inspire people to explore, appreciate, and connect with our shared maritime heritage.
Can you answer the call? After 35 years of serving the public, Lady Washington needs to spend some time at the fountain of youth, and it turns out that turning back time is expensive. I am calling on you for help. Donations are needed before the end of the year to keep the project moving.
With her restoration happening over the next two winters, this first phase is critical. After months of grant writing, fundraising, and earned revenue, we are still short on our goal. This winter, we will be replacing masts and rigging, making structural improvements, and system upgrades.
It’s hard to capture the impact Lady Washington has had in a few short sentences or even a few pages. Lady has been involved in thousands of lives, from working with at-risk youth, teaching kids to sail, advancing maritime careers, and creating lasting memories.
You have kept her sailing and have been an important part of her story. Please donate today to write the next chapter. With your help, this ship, which started out as a dream from a dedicated group of volunteers, can keep contributing to not only her community of Grays Harbor, but to the many communities she visits along the West Coast. She brings tourism revenue and adventure to the cities she visits. She is the interactive museum that comes to you.
In addition to preserving maritime history, your gift will allow Lady Washington to sail the open seas and to make her triumphant return to Oregon, California, and her beloved home port Aberdeen, WA. Boats are meant to sail, to explore, to adventure. With your donation, Lady will get back to what she does best.
It takes a village, thank you for being part of ours.
