DISTRIKT

For over a decade, DISTRIKT has supported artists, musicians, DJs and producers, as well as local and national charities such as Make-A-Wish Foundation, San Francisco-Marin Food Bank, Habitat For Humanity, California Fire Foundation and Burning Man. ...and we have also been known to produce the largest and longest-running daytime music event on the Playa for 10+ years.

The last two years have been extremely difficult for all of us, and while producing events may seem frivolous in such a globally stressful moment in time, the happiness that music and dancing bring to everyone in our community is so important for all of our mental health and well-being.

Like many volunteer organizations and nonprofits, DISTRIKT has also been struggling to keep our normal pace of generating funds to achieve our mission of bringing music and the DISTRIKT experience to people around the world.

Today we ask for your support to help us continue to bring you the DISTRIKT you know and love. Over our 10+ years, DISTRIKT has donated event proceeds to many local and national nonprofit and community support organizations.

BURNING MAN & ART GRANTS

DISTRIKT has completed three Burning Man Arts Grants to date. A giant robot, a corkscrew and and stage. Black Rock City Honoraria support artists in creating art for the annual Burning Man event in Black Rock City, one of the biggest, brightest and most innovative art experience in the world.

SAN FRANCISCO-MARIN FOOD BANK

DISTRIKT has donated to the San Francisco-Marin Food bank to help cover the costs of sourcing and distributing healthy meals to individuals and families in need. San Francisco-Marin Food Bank believes in addressing hunger head-on. Their efforts focus on the immediate distribution of food while simultaneously working on long-term strategies to empower neighbors in need.

MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION

DISTRIKT has been annually donating to Make-A-Wish® who's vision to grant the wish of every child diagnosed with a critical illness. In the United States and its territories, on average, a wish is granted every 34 minutes. We believe a wish experience can be a game-changer. This one belief guides us and inspires us to grant wishes that change the lives of the kids.

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

DISTRIKT has worked with Habitat for Humanity in San Francisco that works towards our vision by building strength, stability and self-reliance in partnership with families in need of decent and affordable housing. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage.

CALIFORNIA FIRE FOUNDATION

DISTRIKT has worked donated event proceeds to support the California Fire Foundation, an organization that provides emotional and financial assistance to families of fallen firefighters, firefighters and the communities they protect.
