"24 for the 25" 530mi in 24hrs for Darkhorse Lodge
"24 for the 25" is a fundraising bicycle ride to honor my role model, friend, and beloved cousin Alec Catherwood and his 24 fallen Marine brothers from the 3rd Battalion, 5th Marines- known as "Darkhorse."
10/14/2020 marks the ten year anniversary of of Alec's death. In remembrance of him, I rode my bike for 24 hours and covered 530 miles.
All donations will go toward the further development of Darkhorse Lodge, a retreat for combat veterans in west TN built in memory of the 3/5 Darkhorse unit Marines killed in action during their 2010-2011 deployment to Helmand Province, Afghanistan.
