Running for Team Neva and Beat Nb
On November 9th I will be running the Tunnel Hill 100. This is a 100 mile run, and, by far the biggest physical challenge
of my life. But I've got it easy...
In February of 2018, my niece, Neva, was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer. Neva has shown incredible strength, resiliency, determination, and bravery through this battle. With the support and care of incredible doctors and researchers, Neva has been NED (No Evidence of Disease) since June 2018. Her journey isn't over though. For the next 2 years Neva will be taking part in a clinical trial funded by the efforts of BeatNB. This new treatment focuses on preventing relapse without punitive therapies. Nearly half of kids with NB relapse...BeatNB wants to stop this!
During my run, I hope that I can draw from Neva's inspiration, her strength, her determination, and her grit to keep going. I want my race to help make a difference. Please consider making a donation of any size and join me in making a difference. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
