Über BackPack Blessings Inc
To provide nourishment for students who otherwise would go without food during the weekend by engaging volunteers to reach out to the community. We provide backpacks of food for food-insecure children at Fair Oaks Elementary, Milford Elementary, and the Salvation Army After School Program for 600 children, each week of the school year. Our results include not only providing nourishment for the weekend, but also contributing to higher student academic performance, enhanced student behavior, and better school attendance.
