Alchemy Skateboarding

We are a small non-profit based out of Tacoma, WA with over 5 years of experience creating unique opportunities for youth to learn and grow through skateboarding! 


We are constantly inspired and humbled by the passion that skateboarders share world wide. We have made it our goal to support them on their journey and provide a framework and structure for them to improve the quality of their own lives, and the lives of everyone in our communities. 

Our indoor skatepark and skate shop is one-of-a kind and has been a hub for 1000's of skaters and youth to meet, collaborate, skate, have fun, and access resources to help them achieve academic, personal, and professional success. Utilizing nationally recognized youth quality program standards, Alchemy uses skateboarding, art, and advocacy to engage with elementary through high school aged youth with something tangible, fun and that they are deeply passionate about. 

We need to raise money to sustain our work and make sure that this community space can continue to exist and serve our community. The overhead associated with running an indoor skate park is extremely high, and currently all of our programs and offerings are run by less than 2 full time staff members. While we are dedicated to our cause, we know that without proper funding, it will eventually become impossible to continue our work. 

We are raising $35,000 on Go Fund Me, as well as working with local businesses to support us with an additional $15,000 to hit our total goal of $50,000.  This goal will allow us the capacity to solidify our work and make sure that we can be here to serve the community for years to come! 

40% of funds raised will go directly to aiding our current programs, 30% of funds will go to supporting our retail skate shop program, and the remaining 30% of funds will be used to help with overhead related to staff wages and taxes. We truly believe Alchemy is something rare, something special, and something that contributes in so many ways to our community, with your help, we can sustain that magic.
