The primary purpose of the Adult Children of Alcoholics World Service Organization (ACA WSO) is to support the global 12-Step fellowship of Adult Children of Alcoholics (ACA). Through its service, ACA WSO assists individuals seeking recovery from the lasting effects of growing up in alcoholic or otherwise dysfunctional environments. Recovery is fostered through the sharing of information, personal experience, and mutual support, grounded in the principles of the 12 Steps and 12 Traditions. This collective process aims to improve individual lives and, in turn, the well-being of the communities in which they live.
