Ad-free social network

If you're like me you love using facebook to share your life with friends.

But you're not ok with all the divisive misinformation Facebook spreads.

This is why I've spent over a year building a new social network called Peacenik. It basically works just like Facebook. You ask people to "friend you" and then see their updates in your feed. You can private message them too. And if you join a group, you can share your interests with a wider network of people.

Peacenik is different than Facebook, whose investors expect billions in revenue, driven by advertising and divisive content.

The biggest difference is that Peacenik is ad free, and doesn't need to push divisive content to attract your attention. But as a business, Peacenik is sustainable, as it relies on techies, like me, willing to host a server for a group of friends.
