Blu222 Hurricane Michael Recovery

Natural Disaster Relief ...

Hurricane Michael slammed into St. Joseph Peninsula along Florida's Gulf Coast decimating homes and causing vast destruction.

Among those homes destroyed was a modest camper-style home situated inside the campgrounds belonging to Nancy  Spencer .. (AKA Blu222/Blu/Blu Sueyetta Spencer) ...

Blu evacuated from the massive hurricane that was approaching accompanied only by her service dog Bodhi, and a few essential items she could fit into her car as she escaped. The overwhelming tidal surge and powerful winds destroyed the possessions she had left behind on Cape San Blas.

Blu & Bodhi no longer have their camper that had been their home. This is a devastating loss for anyone, let alone for someone living with health limitations and who is reliant on disability income.  There is no insurance to cover their losses, and she is applying for whatever help that may be available through FEMA.

Blu has lived as a minimalist, requiring very little for herself and her service dog. In the aftermath of this horrific storm she hopes to gather enough money to acquire a small mobile RV.  She is confident that it will be all she and Bodhi will need to call home.  It is for this purpose that assisting funds are being sought on her behalf.

Blu had served in many past capacities during her working career. Formerly, she had worked in law enforcement, park operations, marine biology, art and more.

Twists and turns along her roads in life have left her in challenging situations.  Everyone who knows her understands that she will wisely apply any help that can be extended to her while she works to replace the humble home that she and her service dog lost to natural disaster.

Please be helpful by donating whatever you can to help in their recovery. She and Bo will be forever grateful to be reassured that others care, and are extending whatever help they can during a time of need.

All she needs is enough to get a small motor home , so she and Bo can travel and be active in wildlife and environmental activism.

Please help her, she and Bo have been living in her car in a parking lot near where she lived. FEMA is refusing to assess the damage because her camper is only accssessableby boat now, as it sits beyond where the hurricane cut into the peninsula, essentially it's now an Island, and even though they know that where is sitting got a 12 ft surge, and winds in excess of 100+ winds.
