Don protégé
Dear Friends,
Sadly, my sister Beatrice Radakovich’s apartment building experienced a devastating fire yesterday (8/1/18) and the entire building is damaged beyond repair. Our family is of course shocked, saddened and heartbroken that ALL of Bea’s material possessions were lost. However, we praise God for His protection over Bea and her lil doggie Sylvie - they were in the apartment when the building caught fire and were able to (narrowly) escape the blaze. Bea and Sylvie are safe and unharmed, and for that we THANK GOD! We love Bea with all our hearts...I have always looked up to her and even more so through this....she is focused, at peace and moving forward quickly to find a new home.
As I mentioned earlier, ALL of Bea’s material possessions were lost in the fire. Bea did not have Renters Insurance. She will have significant expenses to manage in renting a new apartment, buying all new furniture/furnishings/bedding/kitchenware/clothing, etc. We are setting up this fund to help Bea get back on her feet - and quickly! She just started a new (amazing) job as Director of Admissions at North Park Theological Seminary and this extra support could help her to devote her time where she is needed - at work and with her loved ones.
