2016 TOUR FOR PTSD HEALING - SASK

Hi. My name is Dixon Christie. For the past 9 years I've dedicated my life to telling stories about Canadian Veterans and Soldiers - in their words.

We've gained the support of the DND, the Crown of Canada and many fine regiments, battallions and museums along the way and even get to EMBED on exercises. After producing 3 seasons of Battle Scars TV with next to zero budget, we have dedicated SEASON FOUR entirely to PTSD and expanded the reach to unclude first responders. This GoFundMe campaign will allow myself and 3 persons with PTSD to travel to 5 cities in Saskatchewan, share our stories of PTSD and our goal is to interview 50 people suffering from PTSD. The funds are needed immediately as we are leaving on September 19/2016.

Being able to work with veterans and produce over 200 documentaries and stories with them means the absolute world to me. Now that up to 3 million Canadians alone are at risk, being able to help them directly by sharing their stories is my main goal right now. 

If each video is viewed by 10,000 people, our Saskatchewan interviewes can reach a half million people! So that's our story, and those are our goals.
