Baby Catherine ❤

Donation protected

Catherine Corrine Shannon Lavallee was born on August 4th, 2017 at 6:15 pm. She weighed 7 pounds 2 oz to Lawrence and Charnelle and her two brothers Lawrence Jr and Cashton.
At 26 weeks gestational after a routine ultrasound they told Charnelle and Lawrence that baby Catherine has "right atrial isomerism" also known as Heterotaxy syndrome. They informed Lawrence and Charnelle that they will need to do further testing in the upcoming weeks and consult with other hosptial cardiologist in the area to see what action plan would be. Lawrence and Charnelle reside in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan Canada however they told them they would not deliver in Prince Albert because they do not have the proper medical care for her diagnosis. They said that Saskatoon or Edmonton would be where delivery would occur because of the proper medical treatment.
Charnelle was told that she should not travel back and forth for appointments before delivery. They were in the process of relocating as they were uncertain what was going to happen once baby would be born. A month before Catherine's birth they had to decied whether or not to sign their yearly lease for their home. Again not knowing about her birth plan at the time, they would decide to relocate and would stay in Saskatoon to await the birth of their daughter. They have since been staying in hotels with their boys.
After more test, that consisted of ultrasounds and echos they were told once baby Catherine is born she will not survive. This is one of the worse cases of heterotaxy syndrome they've seen in Canada. Surgery for sweet Catherine will not be an option.

They have now been told all the hospital can do is keep baby Catherine comfortable until she passes. Baby Catherine is a fighter she is absolutely perfect on the outside. She is just like any other healthy new born. Doctors have said,  unfortunately this is how it will be. She will seem so normal but once her heart valve closes she will pass and that can happen any second, minute, hour or day.
It has been very hard for this young family as in 2011 they lost their 21 day old son Liam to SIDS. They have been through so much and now they pray for a miracle.
Any little bit will help, whatever raised will go towards hospital and food expenses and sadly if she does not survive will also go towards her funeral expenses.
The last thing we want for them to worry about is finances. Funeral expenses are only the beginning for this family. Please consider to help this family in need &
PLEASE continue to pray and send love and light to this little family. WE HAVE HOPE❤
With great love, we thank you all!

Love & light
God bless
