Hurricane Harvey Flood Relief Fund

First let me start by saying I am very greatful for life and the lives of my children. I am here asking for any help possible. On Sunday morning I woke up to a water soked carpet. I didn't think the water would get high. Me and my boys left our 1st floor apartment. I carried my youngest to the stairs and my oldest followed. Lucky a neighbor let us in his 2nd floor apartment. By then the water was almost chest deep and to about the 4th step. The neighbor didn't want to leave his apartment at all. I finally saw another boat and called for help again. And this boat actually came for us. Their where other boats but none would stop for us. Thank God for those men. I don't know if my neighbor ever left the apartment. I pray they are ok. We are safe and dry. But at this point FEMA has not responded to my application and I have depleted everything I had in my account on this room and food for my boys. I need help. I relocated to Houston a year ago with just a box and a suitcase. I just got my kids back July31. I have been down here working hard to build a new life for them. Saving checks sleeping in cars I rented from my job to save money for an apartment. Witch I succeeded. But now everything everything I work hard for, to build for my boys is gone. Furniture, clothes, shoes, Like everything. Now we have two days of clothes and now $14. Send help if you can. Thank you for your prayers. God bless you and yours...
