Greetings everyone.  I am seeking funding to continue producing my award-winning one-woman play a dark skin woman's  revenge which deals with the issues of dark skin.

Based on my true story, this play which has a book version was written, produced and performed by me Rashida Strober, the world's first dark skin activist as apart of the dark skinned activism that I began in 1998 and continue to expand through this play.

I am also the author of multiple books on dark skin. In fact, I have written the most books and plays on dark skin than anyone world-wide.

Passionate about the topic since 1998 I have  devoted my life and career to dark skin issues. I am the first and only artist/writer/activist to focus my work soley on dark skin.   My journey began back in 1998 at St. Pete College with a lecture I gave on the beautiful dark skinned Alek Wek.  This sparked the dark skin activism that continues to this very day.

Since then I have focued on nothing but dark skin issues in regards to equality. I have an extenisve body of work spanning from 1998 to the present.

I have performed for years in the community and around the country.  l have most recently formed at the DC Black Theater Festival. I have also performed at  the Atlanta Black Theater Festival, The University of South Florida, The Urban League, Tucson Arizona Hyatt and many more venues. The play won the 2012 Playright Red Carpet Awards and continues be wow audiences where I take it. I am pleased to now  finally bring the  award-winning performance to Harlem, New York!

I am a self producing artist. As such, each performance has seperate production costs.  I am asking you to support my proven track record of excellent work in the production of this play. My cost include, venue costs, marketing, travel and lodging.
