Help Nyla Compete in JAPAN!

Hello! My name is Nyla Slate and I am 7 years old. I am a second grade student at an Atlanta area international school where I study Mandarin. I am a blue belt Taido karate student and on March 10, 2018, I placed second in my heat at the U.S. Taido Karate Championships. Yeah!

Because of my karate performance, I have been invited to participate in an extra special friendship tournament in my sensei's hometown of Shizuoka, Japan! This July, I will spend 10 days on tour with my sensei and teammates with stops in Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto. We will also experience the history and culture of the Japanese people.
