Keagans Future
Keagan was seriously injured in an off road motorbike accident on Saturday 20th August. Keagan sufferred many internal and spinal injuries. On Thursday 25th August he had surgery to pin and plate his spine in two sections. The injury to his spinal cord is complete and the advice is he will not walk again. This will not determine what Keagan can and can not do.
On 1st September after 12 days in ICU
Keagan was moved to the Trauma Ward at RPH . His body is healing. It is planned to move him to the spinal unit soon and finally to Fiona Stanley for rehabilitation before coming home when he is ready.
Keagan is a hard working young man who works with Enermech, travelling to work away in Qld and Offshore for month long stints at a time. He loves his work and makes us all proud of how dedicated he is to his job and excited for the opportunities it offers him.
Keagan is a fun loving and easy going 20 year old who loves hanging out with his family and friends and enjoys the great outdoors.
Recently buying his dream ute and proudly kitting it out for his planned camping trips and other adventures. Keagan also loves his two dogs Aussie and Indy.
Keagan has been a part of our family since going to high school with our twins. He was a tremendous support to our family in 2013 when our then 11 year old son Kynan faced a battle with Hodgkins Lymphoma . Keagan stayed with our other kids. made sure they ate, ran them to school and generally kept their spirits up.
Its going to be a long road to recovery for Keagan and funds raised from this campaign will help with expenses to ensure the best possible future for him . Adaptation of his ute to hand controls, ramps and rails for his home and any other modifications needed to allow for his independence and future happiness.
It is our wish to see Keagan have a full and independant future, with no limits to his possibilities and the money raised by this campaign will go a long way to helping acheive that.
