Jim is loved by many. Always a smile. Most know him as Jim the Fence Guy. He is a very hard worker and a honest guy. He is super funny.
Early this morning, Jim became a victim of a horrific crime. For simply doing his job and doing the right thing, an unknown man tried to physically assault him. Jim was able to avoid a physical altercation; however, the assailant was determined to harm him and proceeded to jump into his truck and ran him over. You can read the full story below. The news story does not, however, depict the severity of his injuries. The immediate hurdle the doctors are addressing is saving his foot.
He has undergone the first two or many surgeries and has been taken directly to ICU. As we sit at Providence waiting to see him, we have just been notified that he will undergo surgery #3 in a couple hours.
Jim has a long road to recovery in front of him. Just the preliminary reports from the doctors say it could be a year until he can, hopefully, return to work.
Jim and Sheila will need as much help and support as possible. Please help remove some of the burden as they face this challenge.
