Bayou Vegan Cafe sets the standard for unbelievably tasty, vegan food in Louisiana while combining a unique culinary experience with the satisfaction of knowing your purchase supports a greener, cruelty-free world!
We currently showcase our southern-inspired cuisine at our pop-up events, fundraisers, and at festivals all over Louisiana, but we want to be even more mobile! With a FOOD TRUCK we will be able to offer more menu selections and be available almost daily in many more locations!
Part of the plan is to include locations like hospitals and campuses, where healthy food is often sought out and scarcely found while also using the truck as a vehicle for vegan outreach and advocacy as well as fundraising for the Humane Society of Louisiana, a vegan-hearted 501c3 rescue here in our state!
Our amazing, "no-kill" Southern cuisine is proof that going vegan and saving animals can be easy, delicious, and indulgent!

Red Beans- Creamy, Creole-style red beans with Field Roast vegan sausage.

Pulled “Pork”- BBQ-style jackfruit pulled “pork” served with traditional pistolettes.
