This site is for Gordon Chow. As many of you know, Gordon is an awesome friend and colleague. He's the kind of guy who would stand in line for hours at Liguria Bakery on Christmas Eve just to share some fresh focaccia with you...or take pictures of your special event and make a photo album the next day...or just be there when you need him.
Gordon has been working at his dream job at AT&T Park for the past few years. In his first season with the Giants, he was able to celebrate when the Giants won their 3rd Championship.
This year was supposed to be no different. Gordon went to work at AT&T Park on Opening Day, April 7, 2016. However, something was not quite right...he wasn't feeling so good. He couldn't quite catch his breath. So, the paramedics rushed Gordon from AT&T Park to the hospital. The doctors diagnosed Gordon with double pneumonia and congestive heart failure. Right now, Gordon is in the ICU at St. Francis Hospital.
He's expected to be in ICU for about a week to treat the pneumonia. Once he gets over the pneumonia, he'll have a long recovery that will include physical therapy and treatment for his heart. Since Gordon will be working on getting better, he won't be able to go back to work any time soon.
Gordon's medical bills are going to be astronomical. Although Gordon has some medical insurance, it will not cover the majority of his bills. Here's where you can help. The money raised from this site will greatly help pay the medical bills. As you can imagine, a lengthy hospital stay and ICU costs greatly add up.
Gordon would greatly appreciate any assistance that you could provide.
Thanks so much for looking at this site.
