I am looking for 5,000 people to sow $20 and 20 minutes towards making the s6ns vision a reality on television. We understand that some may be able to sow more and others less; regardless of the monetary amount all is greatly appreciated. We also realize that there may be some who aren’t able to sow any monetary seed, but still desire to help. We totally understand and here’s how you help. Did you know that your time is also seed? The second part of the 20/20 vision is sowing 20 minutes of your time to spread the word about our GOFUND ME Campaign. We are asking that you sow 20 minutes of your valuable time to email, text, tweet, or facebook our campaign to your family and friends. We have sent over 1000 emails about our campaign. Below is a sample email that one of our sowers (Bill) sent out to 100 of his family and friends. Your time is just as valuable as your money. Thanks for the support!!!!! THE VISION
After appearing on Oprah’s Lifeclass addressing “Fatherless Sons”, Minister Karlton Harris was motivated to create the s6ns (6 Sons) Family Reality Show. Karlton Harris grew up as a fatherless son and knows very well the daily challenges that children like himself face. Today as a father of 6 sons and a mentor to formerly incarcerated fathers, Karlton's heart desire is to help reconcile and transform families through television.
s6ns is a family friendly reality television show where every episode demonstrates the importance of fathers being active in their children’s lives. The show highlights Karlton Harris as an author, motivational speaker, and correctional facility volunteer; while simultaneously demonstrating his balance of being an active father.
The show is designed to engage fathers in parent teacher conferences, quality time, as well as getting them involved in every aspect of their children's lives.
USE OF FUNDS
The funds raised will be used for the production (70%) of season 2, airtime (20 %), and marketing (10%) of the show. Karlton has pitched s6ns to various networks but has been asked to compromise his God given vision and change the show for the worse and/or told s6ns is too "good" for television. Of course Karlton is not willing to compromise for any dollar amount and he knows that his show is just what our youth and families need to see today; therefore the s6ns show will continue to be independently and executive produced by himself, with your help of course.
HOUSTON
s6ns is scheduled to air in January 2016 on Houston's Kube Network every Saturday from 6:30 pm - 7:00 pm. The Kube Network will provide nielsen ratings of viewership. Karlton's goal is to highly promote the show in the Houston market to boost family viewership. Karlton is hopeful that high local viewership will generate local sponsorship interest. s6ns will give families a positive show that they can watch together.
OTHER LOCAL SYNDICATED MARKETS
s6ns will also air in other local markets such as Chicago on Cable25 and Atlanta on AIBTV. Karlton is also in discussions with other local markets where s6ns will broadcast on local television to give families who do not subcribe to cable/satellite television. The vision is to reach families everywhere and Karlton realizes the vehicle to achieve this goal is through broadband and local distribution channels.
BROADBAND - GLOBAL
Local viewers will be able to invite their family and friends across the globe to tune-in every Saturday, beginning in January at 7:30 pm (CST) where the newest episode of s6ns will be made available on demand via the s6ns youtube channel. After the production of season 2 the show will be pitched to various broadband distributors such as Netflix, Hulu, and Apple T.V. Karlton have a worldwide (broadband) vision for the show.
BEYOND ENTERTAINMENT
s6ns is on a mission to eradicate fatherless homes. Because of this, Karlton has partnered with the city of Houston's My Brother's Keeper (MBK) Movement and Community Re-entry Network. Episodes of the s6ns show will demonstrate the importance of giving formerly incarcerated individuals a second chance while simultaneously highlighting the difficulties they encounter when attempting to successfully reintegrate. The struggles, the disappointments, the set-backs, and successes will all be displayed.
Karlton will be speaking in High Schools through the MBK Movement to help encourage African American Males to read and apply themselves by using his life story as a testimony. s6ns is designed to mentor the at-risk youth, the formerly incarcerated father, the single mother, and the family as a whole.
Karla, Karlton's wife, will be demonstrating to formerly incarcerated mothers how to save money by couponing so they can spend more quality time with their children.

1. step up to your fatherhood obligations: be there for your kids and then he shows how. For many good reasons, Karlton was awarded FATHER OF THE YEAR this past year. If you watch his season 1 reality TV program S6ONS on YouTube, you'll understand why.
2. positive change is definitely doable: his books and keynote speeches have enhanced lives and our world. His own life story is a testimony for positive change.
Most of what Karlton does is volunteered. His second season of S6ONS is now in production and the program is now in a critical funding phase.
