OTTO CABALLEROS' LEGAL FEES/EXPENSES
On April 12, 2017, ICE agents took this humble, hardworking husband, family provider, and well loved co worker and friend into custody on his way to work. They knew he was here. He checked in as promised. Otto has resided and worked very hard in the U.S. for 20 + years. Please help his lawyer to fight his case to release him and bring him home! We need help with his legal costs and expenses. UPDATE: After a last ditch effort by his hired lawyer, ICE promptly moved Otto from state to state, in detention, until he was sent to a Louisiana "staging" center in Alexandria. Just one day shy of a month on May 11, 2017, Otto lost 20 years of his life. He was deported to Guatemala, where he had not been for a lifetime, since running from the Guatemalan civil war in the mid 90's. Left there with NO ID, NO money, NO clothing but those on his back, and no one to go to for help. His only crime was wanting to work for a living. He never asked anything of this country but to stay in it and continue working hard and living the American dream with his wife and family and friends. Now we start the waiver process to BRING OTTO HOME. We now need help with the legal costs and expenses associated with this process. We need loving, hardworking family people like Otto here! Please, help us with whatever you can to right this wrong by our new administration, and bring him home where he belongs. Thank you so much.
Help the needs
Just FYI, we tried for 11 long years in kmmigration court to fight his case and have him become legal. We tried, over and over. He was denied, for no other reason than he was,too afraid, as a teenager, to apply for asylum in the first year he was here. That's all. With no other recourse and few options, is when he was caught working without proper paperwork. His only crime was wanting to stay in the,U.S. and work for a living. He is a very hard worker and wonderful gentle man who is loved by everyone who knows him. Especially his wife. ♥ We love him and want him home, where he has lived longer than in his birth country. This IS Otto's home. TY.
