Build a school in Solomon Islands

We are a family who has a heart and a passion for the people of Solomon Islands.
God has connected us with a Pastor and his family in Honiara, Solomon Islands and through spending time with them and doing mission work there, we have been called to go to Honiara longer term on mission.
We have linked with them to see their vision unfold for their church, ministry and community.
We need to raise money to get the first stage of the vision happening. Currently, the church has a Kindy and a Primary School up and running, but there is a great need for a Secondary School for those students to follow on to. The Kindy room is in desperate need to be extended to cater for the amount of children. The Early Learning Centre (kindy, Prep) is where our daughter, Jordan, is heavily involved and is implementing an english phonics program and teaching ideas of how to progress the students.
The Secondary School and ELC is the first stage of our project. We will then be building a Rural Trade School/Bible College for students to then move on to after they've completed secondary. Skills of the different trades will be taught along with bible teaching and studies.
Through the building of the facilities and working with the people in the village, we will be building relationships, mentoring and discipling people in this community, and of course involved in the Church.
The money that we raise will be going towards materials, supplies etc that are needed for the building projects and also shipping costs for materials that can't be accessed in Solomons. If need be, some funds will go toward our flights over there aswell.
We are planning to go over to Solomons in December for a 2 week trip to plan and prepare for the building etc. to begin early next year (2017).
We invite you to be involved in this project and see their vision unfold. To see these students grow and learn in their own community aswell as take on new skills and implement them in to their daily lives, while learning and growing closer to Jesus, will surely fill your heart!
