JUFA Travels to Trans Health Conference

Hello! We are Just Us For All, a queer advocacy group in Asheville, NC. We primarily work in Asheville to raise awareness, build community, and create dialogue around queer issues. This June we are hitting the road and taking a trip to the Philadelphia Transgender Health Conference (http://www.trans-health.org/). This will provide an opportunity for local transgender folks and allies to make connections with queers from other areas- to provide support for us and to spread the word about Just Us For All. The information we gain will help us to better support our own community.

Just Us For All is a small community-based group with very low funding. We are in the process of working to become a non-profit. Many of the travelers have low income. This is why we are asking for help. We are raising funds to help pay for hotel rooms for 3 nights and gas to get there. We are trying to get $1,000, but anything will help! Please help get us to Philly.
