On May 23, 2018, Lonnie D. Martin was arrested and is currently awaiting trial for three counts of child pornography. While he was surfing the net, he was trading thousands upon thousands of illegal pictures and videos of minors engaged in sexual acts (some as young as 8 years old). He is yet to be charged federally for sending himself emails of said illegal content while on the premises of Sub Base Bangor (where he had been arrested). Including sexually motivated pictures
he had taken of his step children that are now circulating the net in the hands of others committing the same illegal and unspeakable acts. Detectives have reported that these illegal acts have been going on for at least a decade and he had preyed on this young and innocent family from the beginning. Child Protective Services has dated and documented cases against him as well. Since Lonnie’s arrest, Jess has fought tooth and nail to keep the house they bought together over a year ago, as well as her only vehicle. Unfortunately, he has locked her out of any and all monetary resources they had and without a vehicle, she will soon lose her job. In addition, She has massively downsized what was once a home of her making and has already given up most of her possessions. With nowhere to turn, she is forced to rent a room with her autistic son, Cale. He is prone to seizures and has to be driven over an hour to be seen at the Children’s hospital. As if Jess didn’t have enough to deal with, the stress of both her and her sons medical conditions are taking a toll financially and mentally on her. She and her children will likely need extensive counseling and time to heal from these outrageous crimes physically and through social media. Jess has chosen to cut ties with Lonnie’s family due to blatant harassment and the fact that they are solely convinced that he is NOT guilty and has made it their goal to help him obtain a lawyer. With over half of her household income gone and little to no support, we are asking for donations to help support Jess and her family in this time of need.
