Rocky Steady Boxing East Hartford is an affiliate of Rock Steady Boxing out of Indiana. We do a specialized boxing work out for people diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease, to slow down and hopefully stop the progression of of the disease. There is no cure for Parkinson's but there is proven success with the Rock Steady Classes that are being held by Rock Steady Affiliate gyms all over the world.
We at Rock Steady Boxing East Hartford held in Bare Bones Boxing, are trying to raise money to help the people in Connecticut that have Parkinson's. We need to send more instructors to Indianapolis, Indiana to get trained so we can add more classes. This training and travel costs are at the expense of the gym. There are many people that can not afford to pay for the program, so we are also creating a scholarship program to subsidize those people, so they can join Rock Steady and help slow down this awful disease. Any donation is greatly appreciated!
