EMERGENCY FUND FOR ZAYDEN AND SABRINA
Anyone who has ever met Zayden knows he is a bright light, and anyone who has ever met Sabrina knows that she is an amazing woman! Right now they are in an extremely difficult financial situation and need our help. Sabrina has been raising her lively, three year old grandson for over two years, providing a stable, healthy and loving home for him. This includes not only working ¾ time, but also coordinating childcare, health care, social services, counselors, food, rent, and other necessities. She has been deftly managing on her teacher’s salary along with financial support from another family member. Recently, however, circumstances have changed and Sabrina no longer has the financial support she needs to provide for Zayden’s care. She is in urgent need of funds to help cover rent and daycare costs.
Our support will allow Sabrina to keep her apartment, pay the bills, and most importantly, keep Zayden in the preschool he’s been affiliated with since first coming to live with her. Continuity at this time is especially critical for Zayden’s well-being. Sabrina is extremely creative and resourceful and needs help until she can access new funding options.
Any amount, even $5 - $10, is greatly appreciated! Every single dollar is important and will be well-spent. Sabrina is brilliantly frugal and if we reach the full funding goal, she will be able to make it through September when she will have permanent additional funds coming in through a salary raise.
