Scott's Medical Fund

My name is Scott and I am undergoing treatments for a failing heart and am out of work. I am raising money for my expenses as my temporary disability through my job does not pay enough to pay my bills and cover the travel costs to my specialist who is two hours away. I did not want to do something like this, but when faced with losing everything I have worked for, I decided to swallow my pride and see if I can get some help. It's kind of embarassing asking people for help, but i've run out of things to sell.  I just need another month or two until I can go back to work. I have a months' worth of tests and consultations to get through before I know what is going to happen with my gimpy heart. I am not asking for a fortune, just a little help. It's pretty hard to hold your hat in your hand and ask for help, let me tell you. I've seen some pretty awful reasons for one of these pages and hope mine won't be one of them. I am not asking for a new BMW, or a family vacation to the Bahamas... just a little help to get by until I can get back to work. If you can help, awesome and thanks.
