We are a group of 5 transition year students from John the Baptist School, Hospital, Co. Limerick who will be travelling to Zambia in May 2017 with 2 teachers under the auspices of the Alan Kerins Projects in Partnership with Gorta Self Help Africa.
In order to make this trip a reality, we, as a group, need to raise funds to cover the cost of travel. We also need to provide the charity with funding in order to make a significant social impact on the area we are visiting. The charity’s goal is to “empower communities to shape their future”.
Monies raised will help fund the ongoing work at a home for disabled children, help in local education and contribute towards agricultural projects to empower local communities to self-sufficiency.
We would greatly appreciate your help in achieving these goals and any support you can give, however small, will enable us make a difference.
