Alan's Parachute Jump
Donation protected
Holy Trinity Church has stood in the centre of South Hetton for over 176 years. Countless residents have passed through its doors over the years, whether for special occasions like baptisms and weddings or simply to be close to God. Unfortunately the building is now showing its age and needs a number of repairs. The most serious problem relates to the roof which needs replacing at a cost of £35,000.
In order to raise some money towards the large amount needed, our intrepid churchwarden Alan Beck has bravely agreed to do his first ever parachute jump - at Shotton Airfield on 17 September 2015.
Please consider supporting Alan by sponsoring what you can. Any amount - however small - is very welcome and greatly appreciated. Please help to keep our beautiful church open, so it can serve the people of South Hetton for the next 176 years!
