Karen Hoang Cuts for Kappa Psi!

Hello Brothers! As part of the Mountain East Province Assembly festivites for this spring, we have a very special event planned. Fellow Mountain East brother and current Collegiate Member at Large Karen Hoang has offered to sacrifice her beautiful hair for a great cause! Karen has agreed to cut ONE FOOT (12") of her hair off at the next assembly if we can reach our fundraising goal. Karen has not gotten her hair cut since December 2014, so this will be a very memorable experience for everybody. Whether you are attending or not, please consider helping our cause! We will make sure to take plenty of pictures and videos for those who donate and cannot attend.

Karen's hair will be donated to the Pantene Beautiful Lengths program, which takes donated hair and creates wigs that can be worn by patients with cancer who have lost their hair due to chemotherapy treatments. In addition, Karen has agreed to let the brother who donates the most money perform the cut, which is all the more reason to donate big. If the highest bidding brother is not in attendance at the assembly, he/she can proxy the cut to a brother in attendance. Remember: Karen will only cut her hair if we reach our fundraising goal!

All proceeds raised from this event will go towards the formation of the Mountain East Province Scholarship fund, which aims to create a yearly scholarship for a deserving brother in the province.
