As a loyal member of the US Deaf Men’s National Volleyball Team since 2008, I am thrilled to inform you that we will be competing in three different and exciting tournaments this upcoming summer. We will be attending:
2016 USA Volleyball Open National Championships in Orlando, Florida on May 26–30. We will have the opportunity compete with high-level teams across the nation.
2016 Pan Am Regional Qualifiers & 2016 World Deaf Volleyball Championships at Gallaudet University in Washington, DC on June 29 – July 15. These tournaments will allow us to gauge the international level of play. If you're in town during these dates, be sure to check it out! More information can be found here: www.2016volleyball.org.
I am responsible to fundraise $2,000 to cover my portion for domestic flights, hotel, meals, team registration fees, and team apparel. This is a challenge, but I know I can count on your support and any financial contribution that you can possibly provide to boost not just mine, but our own country's team spirit. With your support, our team will gain experience and step up to the next level by playing together in these three major events this year. We are pursuing our dream of winning the gold medal for the United States in the 2017 Summer Deaflympics in Samsun, Turkey. We will make you proud of your US Team.
