Billies Emergency fund

My best friend Billie is in trouble. She has had Lupus SLE for somewhere around 15 years (since diagnosis.) She now lives in the Washington state near the coast, having moved from the desert southwest to get away from the harsh climate. 
She tries to live a frugal life, but sometimes ends just don't meet.  Especially when the unexpected happens.  Such is the case now.  Between the cost of meds, living expenses, and now car trouble, her circumstances are dire. 
It can be a very difficult thing to ask for help, and she is no exception, yet help is needed.  I assist as I may, but my own life is a trial too.  So I'm here today to swallow my pride on her behalf and request help.  
Her car is a 1995 Toyota. 20 years old, and is in need of repair.  The main issue at the moment is brakes, and the AC is failing, but honestly a car that old could really use some quality time with a good mechanic.
Then there are the doctor bills, and meds, and general living expenses.  Her ability to be frugal is pretty amazing to me, but right now there are just too many hands in the pot.  
Those of you who know me, as well as her, know that neither of us is very good at asking for help, but sometimes you DO have to let that pride go.  So this is me asking, if you can help my friend, please donate.   She is a caring, compassionate, loving person, and its about time she got some of the love and compassion flowing back her direction.
