Please help my cat Charlie

Hi. My name is Lamia. And this is my best friend Charlie. I've had Charlie since he was 3 months old, adopted as a kitten from the ACC in Brooklyn, NY. He will be turning 3 years old this month.

Yesterday Charlie had a horrible accident. While we were at work, he somehow ripped through the window net and fell out of our window. We live on the 5th floor of an apartment building. A Good Samaritan (an angel) found Charlie and brought him to the ASPCA. We are very lucky that Charlie survived and we were able to find him.  
 
The damage he sustained from the fall was severe.  Charlie's leg is very badly broken and the only option the Vet said is to amputate his leg.



Please help us save Charlie.  If we cannot afford to amputate his leg,  he will continue to get sick from the pain and may develop a bacterial infection and may die.

If we ask ASPCA to amputate his leg and are unable to pay they will keep Charlie and put him up for adoption.

Charlie is my best friend and he is the best cat ever.  Anyone who's met him, even people who are self-proclaimed "Cat Haters" have fallen in love with Charlie and his kookie personality.  He's definitely a people person and he's my first pet.  He's been there for me through a lot of up's and downs in my life so far in the passed 3 years.  Please help me make sure he will stick around for many more years.



Please help me save my best friend.  For all the happiness that he brings into everyone's life, he deserves a chance to continue living a happy life in his forever home.


Please contact us through gofundme if you would like more information on Charlie's case.  Charlie was sent home with a splint and a cast around his leg.  He is scheduled for surgery on Tuesday, September 15th.  Until then, the poor guy is home and in severe pain.

I am waiting for the ASPCA to send me my copy of the estimate (aprx $1500 as per vet) for amputation, as well as copies of the X-Ray.  As soon as I get those I will post them.  Below is the first bill we recieved when we picked up Charlie today.
