To Echo With Love

My girlfriend and I agreed to foster sweet little Echo over the course of one week. It turned out to be one of the greatest and most difficult decisions we have made as a couple. By the second day we had to take her to urgent care twice for various parasites and malnourishment. After contacting the lady we received her from, we learned that multiple other kittens from Echo's litter had passed, and if we wanted her to receive proper care and the treatment she needed, we were on our own. Right then she went from being a foster kitty to being part of our family. However, it turned out to be far more than just parasites. Fast forward to two weeks later: she has now been diagnosed with severe pneumonia after six visits to urgent care, and is in an oxygen chamber while receiving treatment and having tests run at Access Vetrinary Clinic in Culver City, California. We are very hopeful, and she is making improvements, but medical bills have now passed $7,000 and she is still in the hospital receiving oxygen and treatment. We will do anything we can to ensure that Echo has every possible chance at a happy and healthy life, and are so greatful for the amazing veterinarians and technicians who have taken such great care of our kitten. Unfortunately, the costs are continuing to grow, and we are now in debt trying to help save our newest family member. Saying that donations are greatly appreciated would be an understatement, and I thank you already for reading about our story.
