Helping Angel Analynn

Donation protected
Analynn is a little angel, who in December 2014 at  10 1/2 months of age was diagnosed with Hurler's Syndrome.  MPS 1/Hurler's Syndrome is a condition in which the child is born without an important enzyme to help break down certain molecules so the body can processes them correctly.  Without this enzyme and/ or other treatments like bone marrow transplant children do not live long.  This syndrome also causes the children to have many physical and mental issues as well.  This is a life long condition that requires a bone marrow transplant before the age of two or perminent brain damage is done.  Analynn had her HSCT-Hematopoietic Stem Cell transplant on 3/20/15.  She had to have enzyme treatments and chemotherapy before she could recieve her transplant.  She has been a strong and brave fighter throughout all the ups and downs/ complications during her recovery.  Post transplant has seen her make some great strides but there have also been some complications/ set back which included several stays in ICU.  She is 100 + days post transplant now. She will need continual specialized medical care for the rest of her life.  She has wonderful parents who have been by her side loving and caring for her throughout all that she has been through. They've set up a Facebook page to help friends and family follow her progress at https://www.facebook.com/AngelAnalynn .

Further complicating things is the fact that Analynn's father began experiencing medical issues of his own just prior to her diagnosis. He's been in and out of the hospital multiple times, and due to his condition he's unable to work or drive, adding extra financial stress to the family. Due to his medical issues he is unable to drive or work, which adds extra financial stress to the family.  Despite his health issues he has been by Analynn's side throughout her tranplant and post transplant recovery.  Analynn will require a wheel chair once she out grows her stroller, her dad also has required the use of a wheel chair at times.  The family needs a vehicle that will make for easy loading and unloading of them and wheelchairs as well. Her family needs help to be able to buy a vehicle that will allow for this.  Analynn's enzyme treatments have continued post transplant and they are very, very expensive and as you can imagine insurance doesn't pay much if at all for these treatments.

This family is near and dear to my heart, since I have been best friends with and known Analynn's mom since we were toddlers.  Sherry and Jesse are wonderful parents just trying to fight for their little girl's precious life but need all the help they can get.  This family has been through more in the last 12 months then anybody should ever have to go through, they are a strong, kind, loving family that deserves our support.  Please help them fight this fight for Analynn.
