Community Cleanliness Nonprofit

My name is Ryan, and I'm a paramedic. As a medic I do my best to help people in the worst situations and emergencies they might face, as well as more mundane urgent care. However, in my job I have noticed a problem that as far as I know is flying well below everyone's radar. One that colors the spectrum from public and personal health all the way to basic human dignity.

That problem is cleanliness of surroundings. Believe me, I have seen horrible things. Bugs, fecal matter, and trash throughout dwellings. Dust and pet dander from years of neglect. Most of these situations involve the very young or very old, vulnerable populations without the knowledge or capacity to better the situation and uniquely vulnerable to it's dangers. Every time I deal with a COPD or Asthma sufferer struggling for breath while trying to maintain my own through the cloying stench of cat urine I think something must change. 

I think we can be that change together, so my idea is to start a non-profit to address the problem called "Next to Godliness" after the old adage. Initial funding is to pay for basic setup, fundraising, and starting supplies to get the ball rolling and scale upward from there.
