Help get K-9 Champ an Electric Collar and flex pole.
K9 Officer Jennifer Robertson of Canton Police Department is trying to raise money for an Electric collar for K-9 Champ. The electric collar is through Martin Systems, and will be purchased through PSD inc along with the flex pole. Both of these items are necessities when it comes to training dogs on obedience. Officer Robertson’s goal is to raise $1300.00, anything over that raised will go to additional items needed for the canine unit.
K-9 Champ will be two years old November 13, he is a Belgian Malinois. He is the short haired version of a Belgian Shepard. He is super friendly and highly trained for searching vehicles for narcotics and tracking. K9 Officer, Jennifer Robertson is the first female K9 Officer for Canton & Haywood County! And she is enjoying every minute of it. Having a K-9 unit is a huge asset to Canton and also very expensive, Officer Robertson is ambitious and willing to help the town give Champ the best training available
